aus.bruch - Theater project for kids

Would you like to stage a piece with a group? We want to playfully explore different forms of expression, have fun together, and explore the themes of anger and reconciliation. At the end, we'll perform our piece in front of an audience—and we'll do everything ourselves: costumes, lighting, set design, and performance.

With the title "aus.bruch," we want to address the themes of anger, conflict, and friendship that have repeatedly surfaced in previous projects using biographical theater methods. We will thus connect to our own life realities and ask questions such as: Why do we freak out? How can we cope when the volcano within us is about to erupt? Where does anger come from, and how can we get along with each other?

The focus is again on the joint co-creation of scenes on the topic, starting from one's own reality and theatrically developed using methods of biographical theatre.

At the end of the week, the results will be presented at a neighborhood festival at the Riederwald Youth Center. The performance will be accompanied by a wider program (such as concerts, workshops, an exhibition of pottery produced at the Youth Center, etc.) and will involve initiatives from the neighborhood.
