protagon is closely linked to the work of our partner association Escuna Criativa eV, whose cultural projects in Brazil we have been supporting for a long time.

Escuna Criativa is a broad socio-cultural project focused on the Baixo Sul region of Bahia, Brazil. This project aims to promote cultural exchange and the professionalization of young artists through various aesthetic forms of expression, such as dance and theater.

In partnership with Vilavox (Salvador da Bahia, Brazil), the project has so far organized five theater and dance workshops, two creative theater workshops, and two tours, which took us to nine cities in the region and to an estimated audience of 5,000 people.

The centerpiece of the project is the project ship Escuna Criativa. The Escuna is designed to be a center of cultural exchange and training for Brazilian and European artists, as well as to be able to circulate throughout Brazil with dance and theater productions.
